Splash! provides dry cleaning and laundry services for pick-up, drop-off and delivery. Splash! services all of Sussex County, DE. The following terms and Conditions are an essential part of our commitment in conjunction with our customers assistance to provide the best laundry services.

By using our services, you agree to the terms and conditions of this agreement with Splash!.

Please note that Splash! reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice.

CUSTOMER PROFILE

In order to use Splash! services, you must register for and maintain an active My Splash! – personal user account. You must be at least 18 years of age to obtain an Account. Your account requires you to submit to identifying information, such as your name, email, address and mobile phone number.

For our pick-up and drop-off customers, at least one valid credit card must be on file. The information contained in My Splash! /customer profile will always be confidential and secure. The information will be used by Splash! for laundry services only.

The information provided by our customers will not be sold or provided to third parties. Splash! ask that our customers try and maintain their profile current in order to better serve you. This will ensure that orders are processed according to your preference and special requests. This will also assist Splash! in contacting you if needed as well as accurately processing all payments.

By creating an account, you agree and acknowledge that Splash! will send you text messages to provide you with updates on your order and our services.

DELIVERY SERVICE

Our customers utilizing our pick-up and delivery services will not be charged any extra fee during our regular pick-up/delivery times within Sussex County, Delaware. We charge an extra fee of $10 for any pick-up and delivery services that are outside of the county or state lines. Your laundry will be picked-up and delivered in accordance with the selections you make while placing your order. Please note that there will be no pick-up or drop-off during holidays or when Splash! is closed.

DELIVERY BAGS

First time customers will receive one complimentary eco-friendly Splash! laundry bag upon placement of their first order.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

To protect your garments, Splash! request that customers place a note with inside their launder bag with specific care instructions or requests. If a customer fails to place a care instruction request, then the customer agrees to assume all liability for the garment. Splash! assumes no liability for garments that have missing or removed Care Labels.

LIMITED LIABILITY

Splash! will not be responsible or liable for items left over 30 days (store drop off) and may dispose of them without liability. If there are any items missing from your laundry or damaged, the customer must report this to Splash! without 24 hours of pick-up or delivery of the item. If an item is lost or damaged, Splash! will reimburse you with store credit at 10% of the retail value of the lost or damaged garment but only with a valid receipt of purchase. Claims submitted more than 24 hours after the pick-up or delivery will not be considered.

Splash! does not take responsibility for any loose items lost when submitted in a laundry bag, such as watches, jewelry, Airpods, or cufflinks. Or any loose items causing damage when submitted in a laundry bag, such as lipstick, pens, and lighters.

Pricing & Fees

All pricing is listed at https://laundrydelaware.com/pickup-and-delivery/. As stated, Splash! reserves the right to charge for 1) Missed Pickups ($15) in the event that a pickup is missed by the customer and 2) Sanitization ($10) on orders that are collected with excessive bodily fluid or animal fur. All other order upgrades are selected and agreed to by the customer when placing an order.

Unpaid Bills: If we retry and are not able to successfully charge the payment method you have on file, we will temporarily block your account from scheduling new orders until your payment information has been updated and your unpaid balance has been settled. We will then send you regular notifications, reminding you to update your payment information. If we are unable to receive compensation within 2 months of your clothes being delivered, we reserve the right to then transfer the uncollected balance to a collections agency.

Conditions

We are not responsible for articles not claimed, unclaimed garments will be handled in accordance with State regulations.

We exercise the highest care in processing articles. Entrusted to us and use such processes which, in our opinion, are best suited to the nature and condition of each individual article. Nevertheless, we cannot assume responsibility for inherent weaknesses of or defects in materials that are not readily apparent prior to processing. This applies particularly but not exclusively, to suedes, leathers, silks, satins, double-faced fabrics, vinyl, polyurethanes, etc. Responsibility also is disclaimed for trimmings, buckles, beads, buttons, bells and sequins.

In laundering we cannot guarantee against color loss and shrinkage, or against damage or weak and tender fabrics. Differences in count must be reported, and this ticket presented, within 48 hours. Unless a list accompanied the bundle, our count must be accepted. The company’s liability with respect to any lost or damaged article shall not exceed 10 times our charge for processing it.
